Reviews and Ratings <br />
While the location by the river offers beautiful scenic views perfect for outdoor activities, the overall experience at Chestnut Mountain was a mix of positives and negatives. I really enjoyed the skiing and amenities available on-site, but unfortunately, the check-in process and some of the food left much to be desired. With high incidental fees and service that wasn’t always up to par, it’s hard to say I would recommend it without hesitation.
Chestnut Mountain offers a variety of winter activities and has a friendly atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The skiing was fantastic, and the pool was a hit with the kids. However, the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some improvements, as the dining experience was also not as good as expected. Additionally, the check-in process had some confusion regarding incidental charges that left a not-so-great first impression.
The resort is located perfectly for skiing and offers a fun experience for families. Our stay was mostly enjoyable with a clean and spacious room, though the food options and service could be improved. Overall, it was a great trip, especially for the kids who loved the ski lessons and the Powder Pup program, but we found the dining aspect lacking and the cost of activities a bit steep.
I recently spent a couple of nights at the resort, and while it has some fantastic amenities like great skiing and a nice indoor pool, there were issues that impacted my overall experience. The accommodations felt outdated and not as clean as I expected, which was disappointing. The location is wonderful for outdoor activities, and I appreciated the friendly interactions with most of the staff, but the dining options could definitely be improved.
The resort offers an incredible skiing experience with great instructors, making it perfect for families. The indoor pool is a wonderful bonus for relaxation after a long day on the slopes. However, the dining options were limited and the check-in process left much to be desired. Additionally, some areas of the resort felt dated, which detracted from the overall experience.
